AIR CONDITIONING

We have consciously chosen not to install air conditioning in our rooms to protect the environment. If you prefer, we can replace your duvet with a light sheet. After airing the rooms in the morning, we shade them throughout the day to keep them pleasantly cool.

ALLERGIES

Please inform us of any food intolerances or special dietary requirements—ideally already when booking your stay. All rooms are carpet-free and feature allergy-friendly bedding.

ARRIVAL

Your room will be ready from 2:30 PM on your arrival day. If you arrive earlier, we will gladly store your luggage and issue your Mobility Ticket in advance.

ATM & BANK

The nearest bank (Raiffeisenbank with 24-hour ATM) is located at Aniferstraße 12, 5081 Anif.

ADVANCE PAYMENT

If you wish to make a deposit, please contact our reception.

BAGGAGE / LUGGAGE STORAGE

We are happy to store your luggage on your arrival or departure day.

BICYCLES

A bicycle storage area is currently being planned. Until then, we can store your bicycles safely in the garage. Please ask at reception.

BREAKFAST

We serve a rich breakfast buffet with regional products from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the restaurant. Changes or extensions are posted at reception the evening before.

BREAKFAST TIMES

Breakfast: 7:00–10:00 AM.
For early departures, you may order a packed lunch at reception the evening beforehand.

BOOKS & GAMES

You will find books and board games in our lounges, available free of charge.

BUS CONNECTIONS

Bus line 25 takes you to Salzburg city centre in just 15 minutes. Timetables are available at reception. The bus stop “Reschbergerweg” is a 5-minute walk towards Alpenstraße. Coming from Salzburg, take the small road on the right and walk through the tunnel to reach the hotel.

CHECK-OUT

Rooms must be vacated by 10:30 AM. Late check-out is possible depending on availability and for a fee; please inquire at reception.

CHARGING STATION

An e-charging station for electric vehicles is located next to the main entrance. Billing is handled at reception. First come – first served; reservations are not possible.

CHIP CARD – YOUR ROOM KEY

Your key card opens your room door, activates electricity inside the room, and grants access to the night entrance after 8:30 PM.


 

DEPARTURE

Please vacate your room by 10:30 AM on your departure day.

DINNER

Our hotel offers breakfast only. Our reception team will gladly recommend restaurants nearby or visit www.anif.info.

DRESS CODE

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. There is no dress code; however, pajamas are not permitted in the breakfast room, and footwear must be worn in the public areas.

E-CAR CHARGING

An e-charging station for electric vehicles is located next to the main entrance. Billing is handled at reception. First come – first served; reservations are not possible.

FIRE ALARM

In case of fire, please remain calm. The emergency escape plan is posted on your room door. Do not use the lift.
If an alarm is triggered due to negligence (cooking, smoking, etc.), a fee of EUR 350 will be charged—the official emergency response cost.

GAMES & PLAY AREA

A play corner for children is located on the ground floor behind the fireplace lounge. Please leave it tidy for other guests. Our outdoor playground welcomes many little visitors.

Vouchers can be created at reception, via email, by phone, or easily printed at home via our website www.essigmanngut.at

HOUSE RULES – SMOKING

Our hotel is non-smoking. Smoking areas are located at the entrances, on the terrace, and on room balconies. Please keep the balcony door closed while smoking to prevent odours. If additional cleaning is required, we reserve the right to charge for it.

LUNCH PACKETS

For departures before 7:00 AM, please notify reception or service staff by 8:00 PM the evening prior.
Packing your own lunch from the buffet is not permitted. Additional lunch packets can be ordered for a fee.

MOBILITY TICKET

Since 1 May 2025, all overnight guests in Salzburg receive a Guest Mobility Ticket covering all public transport in the region: city buses, regional buses, S-Bahn, regional trains, long-distance trains, and micro-public transport.
You receive it at check-in or in advance via email if the pre-check-in form is completed.

NEWSPAPERS & MAGAZINES

A selection is available in the breakfast room. Please return items after reading so that other guests may enjoy them.
